Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Keep The Recipe ("KTR," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms apply to all users of keeptherecipe.com and app.keeptherecipe.com.

Keep The Recipe is an AI-powered recipe adaptation platform that allows users to save recipes from across the internet and have them automatically adapted to match their personal dietary and health profiles. The service includes a curated recipe feed, health profile management, creator following, SMS notifications, and AI-generated recipe adaptations.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use KTR. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

KTR offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the rate displayed at the time of purchase.

Free Trial: New users receive a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the applicable subscription rate.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods unless required by applicable law.

Price Changes: We may change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

KTR uses artificial intelligence to adapt recipes based on your health profile. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated adaptations are for informational and culinary purposes only and do not constitute medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.
• Adapted recipes may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
• You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making dietary changes, particularly if you have a medical condition.
• KTR is not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from use of adapted recipes.

You may provide health and dietary profile information to personalize your experience. This information is used solely to generate recipe adaptations and to personalize your feed. We do not sell this information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the health profile information you provide. KTR does not verify health profile information.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to KTR, including imported recipes and profile information. By submitting content, you grant KTR a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content for the purpose of providing the service.

You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights.

KTR indexes and displays recipes from third-party creators and websites. We do not own this content. All original recipe content remains the property of its respective creators. KTR's role is to adapt recipes for your personal dietary needs — not to reproduce or distribute them commercially.

By providing your phone number and opting into SMS notifications, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from KTR, including weekly recipe digests and platform updates. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP or updating your notification settings in the app.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the service or its AI systems
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload harmful, infringing, or misleading content
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to KTR at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@keeptherecipe.com.

KTR is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KTR and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, health outcomes, or lost profits.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
